Cassani Fogless Shower Mirror

“Why didn’t we get one of these before?” That was my husband’s response after the first time he used the Cassani Fogless Shower Mirror. I have to admit, we were both a little skeptical at first, I mean, a fogless shower mirror? Really? But, I swear, it really is!

Let me start from the beginning. I received the Cassani Fogless Shower Mirror via Amazon a week ago with very complete and easy to follow instructions. It takes just a few simple steps of cleaning the potential hanging area, placing the hooks (one for the mirror and another for your razor), wait a short time for the adhesive hooks to set and voila, Fogless Shower Mirror is up and ready!

After trying it for a week, the mirror has stayed in place and sticks very well, even after hot showers. And guess what, it has not fogged up once! My husband loves it and says he no longer cuts himself shaving in the shower anymore. He also said that he saves time with shaving.  I really like it for underarms. No more guess work or missed areas.

Another positive is the company. I have corresponded with a couple of people at Cassani and they have been very helpful and truly care about customer satisfaction. It is very obvious they take a lot of pride in Cassani and their Fogless Shower Mirror.

The only recommendation that would make the fogless shower mirror even better would be having 2 razor holders in the box. Since we both use it, only one actually gets to hang their razor up next to the mirror. Regardless, the Cassani Fogless Mirror is still totally worth it!crop_87e1141bf8d404912a17d8c14865b396cc173cf12918fd691350543ef14aa8e830dbc15c250250

Look who is a big boy now

For every bug that’s eaten in a greenhouse, a praying mantis gets its wings. Seems like just yesterday Kenny showed up in the mail so tiny and frail. Barely big enough to eat tiny little fruit flies, but he is a big boy now. They grow up so fast…..*sniff* *sniff* Oh and Kenny, for the record~ The greenhouse is big enough for the both of us and I tremendously appreciate all that you do. That said, if you fly in my face though, I may or may not smack you across the greenhouse. Fair warning.

P.S. Your eyes are still creepy.

Review of Animals Tails by Dan Jackson

I had the pleasure of reading the children’s book entitled Animals Tails by Dan Jackson. It is a cute and informative quick read that not only educates both child and adult, but is filled with colorful pictures representing each animal discussed. Being able to not only read the reasoning for each animal’s tail, having the picture brings it all together for the full effect.

Many types of animals are covered, from domestic to reptiles, which allows for a fun variety. While some descriptions are simpler than others, each page is easy to understand for all ages. I even learned a few things!

I recommend Animals Tails which would also make a great bedtime read.

If a Puppy Loses Some Baby Teeth, You Find Them and She Knows It……

This gallery contains 3 photos.

Does that mean the Canine Tooth Fairy visits? I wonder if they have the same Tooth Fairy as humans. I would like to think they have their own, some sort of pint sized adorable St. Bernard that clumsily flutters from house-to-house and puts all the teeth in his barrel dangling from his collar or perhaps […]

Puppies, rainbows and unicorns……

If only our lives were that carefree and simple. Going out on a limb and assuming at least for 99.999873% of us life is not all lollipops and glitter. Here is a challenge, how about pretending for just a short time life is carefree; list a word or a few words that describe your “perfect life,” well if it would be full of sunshine and butterflies. Perhaps they are word(s) or a phrase that makes you happy. Everyone has words that make them cringe, so we must have some that make us smile, perhaps even laugh, right? You know what they say, smiles are contagious so let’s spread some joy and create some giggles.  Ready? Go…………

There once was a person………

In memory of my husband Jim who passed from this disease 12/12/13. Miss him every day!

In loving memory of my Mother.

My Mom had this horrific disease. She passed in January of this year.

I lost my dad to this horrific disease.

My husband passed away from this illness after a 6 year battle with the disease.

My mom was diagnosed with CBGD in September 2013. This is a horrific disease and needs more awareness, research and knowledge.

My 71 year old mom is suffering with CBD. It has taken away so much from the mom I once knew. I miss the old her terribly. Very few people have ever heard of this rare disease, and I would love more public awareness.

My significant other was diagnosed with CBD in 2012 after several years of misdiagnosis. We’ve been together 6-1/2 years and I’ve watched him deteriorate from a strong athletic man to someone who requires assistance in all physical aspects.

Determined to raise awareness and research funding. My father has CBD.

We believe that CBGD is a debilitating illness for both patients and family. Guy was diagnosed in 2012.

My mom has CBGD and we need a treatment/cure!

**The above are all real excerpts from the fundraiser page and I know of many more losses and suffering from support pages. This is real. This is the path that my family and I are heading down. Please help find a way to change my future and so the people who wrote those heartfelt lines can possibly get their suffering loved one cured or the ones who have already lost someone, a sense of comfort knowing others will not have to endure their hardship.

Update:
65 shirts sold and $1035 (combining both links) raised so far! Still 9 days to go, so PRETTY PLEASE either purchase a shirt, perhaps make an extra donation or just donate only. If all else, please just share this post.

I really am hoping to sell at least 100 shirts and also raise $2000 minimum! Even just a few dollars on the donation only page would immensely help increase awareness and get us one step closer to finding a cure for CBGD. Remember, funds raised will go directly to CurePSP.

How about a simple challenge…….I know you do not know me. Probably do not know anyone with CBGD, do you? Have you ever even heard of it before this post? If you answered ‘No’ to any of these questions, then donate at least $5.00. That’s it, just $5.00. The price of one foofy coffee. Cheaper than fast food. Less than 2 bags of chips. But can you just picture everyone giving $5.00 and what that could accomplish!? Don’t even donate for me. Donate so you can hopefully go through the rest of your life and be able to happily say that you do not know anyone with CBGD.

Go to https://www.booster.com/cbgdawareness You can access the donation only page from the link I posted. Once you go onto the site, click on the “To make a donation only” link on the right hand side of the page. The fundraiser ends September 24th.

There once was a person…….who was cured of CBGD and lived happily ever after. This is my fairytale, help me make it come true.

Thanks!!

P.S. For those that want the sarcastic humor back, don’t worry it will be. Sometimes, a touch of serious in your face reality is necessary.

Have you seen this praying mantis?

This gallery contains 2 photos.

His name is Kenny. Don’t be misled, he does not know his name and will not come if called. If only. He is missing from my greenhouse and let’s face it, the bugs aren’t eating themselves. Ok, maybe some are and probably some are eating each other. Regardless, that is Kenny’s job, dang it, and […]
